Oomori Hidetoshi was born November 5, 1959 in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. He is a long-time animator, animation supervisor, storyboarder, designer and director.
After graduation from vocational school he went to Tokyo and ed Studio Pastoral.
Oomori was working as animation supervisor on shows like Zeta Gundam and Char's Counterattack. In 1987 he made his directorial debut with the Robot Carnival short Deprive, which was highly regarded for its action sequences, the 80's feel and bizarre design work.
After graduation from vocational school he went to Tokyo and ed Studio Pastoral.
