Tachibana Shinnosuke, born April 26, 1978 in Gifu Prefecture, Japan, is a voice actor (seiyuu), singer, narrator and mystery writer, previously d with Black Ship.

He graduated from AoniJuku in its 18th graduation year and ed Production Baobab afterwards, where he left in May, 2011. In June of the same year he ed Axl One. His refreshing resounding voice made him a prime choice for voicing young boys and teens. His blood type is A and his hobbies are cycling, darts, karaoke and personal computer.

Tachibana's interest in becoming a voice actor started during his first year high school, when he received a laser disc deck for his birthday. At that time, he was not interested in anime at all but his favorite manga, Oh! My Goddess had been animated and an LD of it was released. Using the opportunity he bought the LD set for the series and was very moved by it, thinking the animation is impressive, the voice actors are too. As the type who would not get touched by something, this was a first for him. He became more interested and came to like anime. Around that time the Seiyuu Grand Prix was published, which he stumbled upon when he bought some anime magazines. This was when he for the first time thought of being a voice actor. He decided that once he graduated high school he would go to a career school. As the people around him were busy studying for the entrance exams, he was busy thinking on how to be a voice actor. He would cover his books on how to speak eloquently with his school text books and read it secretly, he did stretching exercises everyday, practiced reciting the Uirou Merchant, made double sided vocabulary flash cards - written in Japanese on the front and pronunciation on the back. He did all these preparations to be a voice actor for all his three years of high school. The reactions of people around him were Huh? Voice Actor? Do you watch anime? since it was a seasonal profession and not a major field at that time. In addition, he was attending a shingaku, an advanced school that prepares its students for university, so he had to study for the entrance exams too. He had to take a step back for a while and bear with it for three years. His father had been ive of him from the very beginning. Above anything, his father really wanted to be a singer so he told Shinnosuke do what you want to do.

He decided to attend AoniJuku career school. After receiving a notification that he ed the audition, it took him about two weeks to find a place and move. It was a struggle moving to Tokyo. He really enjoyed attending that career school for a year. They had class from Mondays through Fridays and after class, he would go with his classmates to Inoshima Park to review. All the things that he saw and experienced were all new and interesting to him. He met various people from different generations, there were college students and much more younger people than him. Following this nice experience after the career school, for four and a half year he juggled between part-time work and taking Buyou & pantomime lessons. That was the time he drifted away from doing voice work until he had the opportunity to meet some veteran anime director and staff and thought of trying to do some voice work once again. And then, they referred him to audition for the anime series E's Otherwise. He was able to get a major role, however it was decided that he was going to play Kyou, the villain instead. After taking that role, he was introduced to the Production Baobab agency where he signed his first professional contract.

His next role was that of Bullmotor in Cubix, a South Korean animated television series. His breakthrough followed in the sequel to the popular Fushigi-boshi no Futago-hime, Fushigi-boshi no Futago-hime Gyu! where he played the role of bespectacled prince Toma. On that occasion, he started to research about similar characters and thought of trying to make a voice variation that would give off the vibe of being able to argue with people. As he thought of that, it became the character - Toma. From then on his work gradually increased as he played intelligent, prince type of characters and the like on anime, drama cds and games. Besides his work as voice actor he also takes part in the musical duo Lux Age together with fellow voice actor Naruse Makoto and Elekiter Round with Hino Satoshi.
