Minami Machi Bugyousho was an animation production company. Founded in 1984 as a "free studio" by Oobari Masami.
After incorporating in 1989, the studio became more involved in the gaming industry, helping to create graphics for the 3x3 EYES adventure game series and the 2D fighting game GUILTY GEAR X. Soon after, the company grew large enough to carry out almost all the animation production processes in-house.
In 2007, the company co-produced the 24 episode TV series Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 in 2008, but in the same year, Tokyo Kids had to declare bankruptcy. Due to this, Minami Machi Bugyousho also had to close down the studio in 2009.
