Eevee is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I.

It evolves into one of eight different Pokémon through various methods. It also has a Gigantamax form.

Eevee is the game mascot and starter Pokémon in Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!, as well as for the main characters of Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness and Pokémon Conquest. It is also the rival's starter Pokémon in Pokémon Yellow, although Professor Oak originally intended to give it to the player.

Eevee is a mammalian, quadruped Pokémon with primarily brown fur. The tip of its bushy tail and its large furry collar are cream-colored. It has short, slender legs with three small toes and a pink paw pad on each foot. Eevee has brown eyes, long pointed ears with dark brown interiors, and a small black nose. Eevee is rarely found in the wild and is mostly only found in cities and towns. However, Eevee is said to have an irregularly shaped genetic structure that is easily influenced by its environment. This allows it to adapt to a variety of habitats by evolving. Eevee is the only known Pokémon capable of using the exclusive Z-Move Extreme Evoboost.

In Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!, the player starts with a special Eevee known as a Partner Eevee. The Partner Eevee has purple eyes and a lighter shade of fur. These design elements likely taken from the anime, which implemented similar traits starting in the Advanced Generation series. The marking on the tip of a female Partner Eevee is heart-shaped. Before Pokémon Sword and Shield, this trait was unique and wasn't found on other female Eevee. Partner Eevee has higher base stats and access to moves that normal Eevee do not. Partner Eevee is the only Pokémon capable of performing Bouncy Bubble, Buzzy Buzz, Sizzly Slide, Glitzy Glow, Baddy Bad, Sappy Seed, Freezy Frost, Sparkly Swirl, and the Partner Power, Veevee Volley. In Pokémon Sword and Shield, the unique pattern is present on all female Eevee as a true gender difference.

As Gigantamax Eevee, it has become larger and more fluffy. The fur collar becomes longer with several triangular furs pointing straight up. The right ear has three red clouds surrounding it like a circle. Due to the fur becoming fluffier and luxurious, any enemies caught in it will lose the will to fight due to being enamored by its presence. Due to Gigantamaxing, Eevee becomes even more playful and rambunctious, desiring to play with its opponent and often unintentionally crushing them with its size.

Gigantamax Eevee is the only known Pokémon capable of using the exclusive G-Max Move G-Max Cuddle.

Ursula's Eevee was revealed during the Appeal round of the Sinnoh Grand Festival at the Lakeside Resort. It evolved during the Appeal round.

Billy's Eevee (Toril) performed in the Pokémon Circus and did spectacular trapeze. It had a silk top hat on its head. It was supposed to evolve into a Jolteon during the performance but during practice, Harmony's Fire Stone touched it and it evolved into Billy's Flareon (Toril).

One day when he was a young boy, Gladion found this Eevee in the tall grass. It was hurt and crying. He picked it up and brought it back home and showed it to James (Alola). They immediately gave it first aid treatment and then take took it to Nurse Joy (Alola) where it recovered.

Soleil's Eevee evolved into Soleil's Espeon one day when she was young and tripped on a rock during the middle of the day.

Soleil's Eevee evolved into Soleil's Umbreon one day when she was younger. When she was scared by a Crobat, her Eevee protected her. It evolved at night the same day that her Soleil's Espeon had evolved.

May's Eevee hatched from an egg.

Harmony's Eevee (Bernice) performed in the Pokémon Circus and did spectacular trapeze. It had a flower on its head. It was supposed to evolve into a Flareon during the performance but during practice, Billy's Thunder Stone touched it and it evolved into Harmony's Jolteon (Bernice).

Kagetora's Eevee was briefly seen battling against Ilima's Eevee in a parking lot. It ended up losing the battle and Kagetora gave Ilima an Eevium Z as a reward for defeating Eevee.

Ash Ketchum wanted to see what Eevee's Z-Move was like so he challenged Ilima to a battle. Ilima's Eevee was up against Pikachu but before the battle started Skull Gang showed up. During the battle against the Skull Gang, Vaporeon, Umbreon, Espeon, Leafeon, Sylveon, Glaceon, Flareon, and Jolteon showed up at the school battleground when it used Extreme Evoboost. Ash thought it was an awesome Z-Move.

Kagetora's Eevee was briefly seen battling against Ilima's Eevee in a parking lot. It ended up losing the battle and Kagetora gave Ilima an Eevium Z as a reward for defeating Eevee.

Kiley's Vaporeon is the evolved form of Kiley's Eevee. As a professional surfer, Kiley would always take his Eevee with him to both training sessions and competitions. Kiley's Eevee loved the sea, so it occurred to Kiley one day that he should try surfing with Eevee on the board and he gave it a Water Stone to evolve it.

Just before Gary left towards the Johto region he had a battle with Ash Ketchum using one Pokémon each.
Gary used his Eevee and easily defeated Ash's Pikachu proving how strong Eevee is and how much Gary had improved as a trainer since the Indigo League.

Sakura's Eevee was lost in Ecruteak City and Misty picked it up and watched over it until they met Sakura.

Serena's Eevee is a very Timid Pokémon that is shy to be in front of people and other Pokémon. Serena first saw it dancing on some rocks in a field near Hyakkoku City. She thought it was very cute and that it was light on its feet and it seemed to be having fun. It was very shy, so she lured it by putting out Pofflés that she made and then did her Tripokalon performance to show Eievui her feelings.

Jessie also took a liking to it and also tried to get it by force though. She thought it had exceptional talent that would add grace to her magnificent performances. Serena and her Pokémon protected it for a bit but when Jessie's Gourgeist used Seed Bomb on Serena, Eevee came to the rescue and used Protect to stop her from being harmed.

After being saved by Eievui, Serena asked it again if it would her on her journey and it agreed. She captured it with her Poké Ball and then let it out to meet all the other Pokémon. It seemed to like Clemont's Bunnelby but Clemont's Chespin got a bit upset when it didn't initially like it.

Lana's Eevee (Sandy) made its first appearance in the Eievui, Where Are You Going? shorts before it was introduced into the main anime series.

Mikey decided not to evolve this Eevee despite pressure from his three brothers.

This is Virgil's eighth Eievui. It loves to be pampered but it's still an apprentice. Virgil had been trying to get it to decide what kind of rescue missions it wanted to do and which type it want to evolve into so it could graduate from its apprenticeship. Virgil's Eevee couldn't decide and Virgil wanted to make sure not to rush it and make sure it thought through it carefully so it would pick the evolution that suits it most.

During a battle against some Freegeo at the dam and reservoir, Virgil's Eevee helped contribute by protecting Virgil's Flareon and boosting its attacks. While Virgil was busy dealing with the Freegeo's attacks, Virgil's Eevee dug a hole down to the basement of the control building which allowed Davey to get out of the building. Virgil realized after those experiences that his Eevee was fine the way it was and that his Eevee Team was now complete.

Virgil's Umbreon is the evolved form of Virgil's Eevee. While Virgil was about Ash's age, he went out to explore the forest with the first Eievui he had befriended. Getting carried away, he walked in too far. Not only had he become lost in the forest, but the sun had also set; just when he thought all hope was lost, his Eievui evolved into Blacky. Thanks to Virgil's Umbreon, Virgil got out of the forest and a special bond between him and Eievui was born.

None of its moves as an Eevee are known.
