In a world of brilliant heroes, it's the trust of their fans that makes them into superheroes. If the people believe that a man can fly, he will fly. If a hero loses the people's trust, he loses his special abilities. Trust Value is collected and quantified and used to determine a hero's ranking. Every two years, a tournament is held to choose the top heroes. Their performance in the tournament determines their new Trust Values and their rankings.
The absolute hero with the highest ranking... His name is X.

I am not in the habit of recommending a show before it's run its course but I feel the need to do so. Political insanity aside, this show is promising and very well made. Also if I may be so bold, satire or even simple commentary of a fictional society is no glorification of anything in the real world. Art is but a mirror of reality and whatever beauty or horror you might find within is one's to interpret on their own.

At its core, this is just a perverse attempt to glorify the oppressive social credit system currently in place in China. Recommended only for fans of C propaganda.

This seems promising.
A real hero suicides, and a normal person just fakes being that person, and he gets superpowers from the 'belief' of the people. And its a story of him trying to somehow live/succeed.
