A good continuation to the first OVA:
The characters didn't look as young anymore, you get more drama and also more action.
The blood and gore seemed to increase as well - this time there were a few scenes I didn't want to see that much... which is a good indicator for horror I guess.
What I enjoyed the most again was the artwork - which is really beautiful - and the music.

Demons exist and their power is beyond what humans can fathom. In fact they are so strong that humans do not stand a chance against them in a fight. The only thing strong enough to defeat a demon is another demon and it is through this logic that Asuka Ryou hatches the plan to have his good-hearted friend Fudou Akira possessed by a demon. If a person has a pure heart, then he might be able to control the demon that possesses him and thereby acquire power equal to that of a demon. After raising some hell in a club the plan works and Akira is possessed by the powerful demon known as Amon. Now Akira is humanity's sole champion of justice against the hidden demon menace that has plagued mankind since the dawn of time.

As with the previous OVA, it shines in quality, artdesign and sound but be prepared to get confused if you are not familiar with Devilman. Basically try to watch this OVA back to back with the previous one and the 2000 Amon Apocalypse for the full experience. For what its worth the OVAs are great in my books :D

Another good demonic butchery. The animation still good even thought it lack a bit of substance in the story departement. Still, the good level of fine action and tragedy made it recommended.
