A cute/silly series about a princess who is doing her utmost to get a good nights rest. There is a lot of silliness to it which tilts the dire circumstances of her situation to be non-existent, to the point where you start feeling bad for her captors. The end result even with all of her bad behavior the characters feel at harmony with the MC and tend toward maintaining the status quo.
If you want a cute relaxing silly anime, this could be for you. I've even dozed off to it a couple times.

The premise of a demon king kidnapping a princess could've been taken in a serious or lighthearted tone. This series took the lighthearted direction. Each episode follows the princess causing trouble to find ways to sleep comfortably. While there is comedy and the princess being cute, I found this formula repetitive perhaps if the episodes were half episodes it wouldn't feel this way. In the end, there is enjoyment of lighthearted and cutesy tone, but does get repetitive.

this anime should be getting 4 or 5 out of 10, it doesn't deserve 7+
I dropped this after 3 eps, basically the storyline is just princess wanting to get a better sleep, and she was causing havoc around demon castle, they want to catch her, and she goes back to her room sleeping after doing whatever she wants.

it wasn't anything spectacular, it was lighthearted, but it get's a 7 from me because it didn't try/pretend to be something it's not, it just did a very good job at being a lighthearted, charming, funny and relaxing story. Also the eng dub was excellent, way funnier than the sub.

Yea, I'm not going to care that people are saying this anime is bad because it condones an ill-behaving selfish (and very smart) protagonist. Maybe I've moved on from being a parent to being a grandparent. And frankly that argument is weird because a lot of "cute-girl-doing-cute-stuff slice-of-life comedy" has mischief as the basis, and this just turned up the dial.
On my rewatch and show-others list, with ease.

Quite the sleeper
This series just screams KAWAII all over the place
From the lovely art style, bright cheery fairy tale feel and the colour palette make u think of unicorn, rainbows & cotton candy
Also found it smart & creative with char design as well as the comedic deadpan antics of the princess
Princess herself is deadpan violent cuteness imbued but the demon and monster we just adorably cute as well. You will just love every character there is
The comedic antics are fun and refreshing with its unique premise of a sleepy but mischievous hostage princess being to at home in Demon Lord's castle. Though at times some part feels a bit episodic and repetitive. Some ep had me choking on my laugh and some even had me excite with the prenominated comedy ahead. Pretty good artwork and animation to boot and an addictive upbeat ED sequence as well
